Trip to Iceland 2015

Travel Tips

Photo report from the trip

Iceland. The country that thousands of people dream of. The first time I was lucky enough to visit there in 2012. How it happened and what came of it can be read here.

After 3 years, I decided to organize a small tour in a cozy little company to this wonderful country. The high season in Iceland lasts from June to mid-September. That is why it was decided to make the tour from September 16 – lower prices, fewer people, the same weather.

In 5 days we managed to visit the world-famous Blue Lagoon, take a tour of the Golden Circle of Iceland, go crazy with the beauty of the South Coast, go on a night hike to hot springs, go Reykjavik far and wide, and also taste whale meat, listen to a concert of the famous Icelandic groups and visit the phalological museum 🙂

Part of the program we organized ourselves, and part – our wonderful Icelandic guides. Everything was very nice and sincere.

A post with practical information on how to organize a trip to Iceland on your own can be found on this page.

Bonus

On the way back we stopped in Oslo for a few hours. The transport connection between the airport and the center of the capital of Norway is well-established (which was to be expected), so we got to the historical center of Oslo very quickly and relatively inexpensively (if this word is applicable to the Nordic countries at all) and in 4 hours managed to visit the main sights of the city – the Royal Palace and Akershus Fortress, stroll along Karl Johans Gate and take hundreds of unusual photos on (exactly “on”) the building of the Oslo Opera House.

Everything, less text, more photos. Here is Iceland. The way we saw her.

If you want to order a comprehensive planning of your trip to Iceland or, conversely, learn how to organize your own trips, then you are here 🙂
