Luxury Travel Tips

The Six Senses Spa at Porto Elounda De Luxe Resort in Greece, Crete, received the Best Spa in Greece award, voted on by visitors to the Spa Finder (the world’s largest media and marketing spa company).

Considered to be the most relevant and independent award in the spa world, as it is based on the choice of ordinary people. Moreover, in the current, eighth vote, some simply breathtakingly record number of users took part.

“To receive this award is a remarkable achievement. More people than ever use spas today, and the industry is extremely competitive. That Six Senses Spa Porto Elounda has received such high praise from our readers is a credit to the team at the resort,” said Susie Ellis, president of Spa Finder Inc. The winners were announced in 35 countries and regions.

Ellis noted that according to research released at the 2010 International Spa Summit, the spa industry represents a market of more than 60 billion dollars. “Spa visitors are increasingly looking for a complex that fully meets their needs and lifestyle. The location doesn’t matter. Our award will allow people to make the right choice based on objective data.” Ellis emphasized that readers only rated spas that they had personally visited within the past three years.

The full list of winners will be published in the Spa Finder Guide to Global Spa, Wellness & Beauty.
